You can use this in the base color as well as in the transparent finishing layer, which gives you 2 different looks.
The layer in which the flakes are mixed must always be closed with a finishing layer for exterior applications.
You can do this with a transparent but also with a colored transparent.

Processing color in the base and then finishing with transparent gives a smoother and deeper effect, but also gives a lower metallic effect.

By processing flakes in a transparent finishing layer you get more depth and a higher metallic effect, but if you want to use that for an outdoor application, you still have to finish the layer with an extra transparent finishing layer to seal off the flakes that are sensitive to corrosion from these external influences. .
