Epoxy Primer with corrosion resistant zinc.
For a smooth and strong bond between the substrate and the finishing layer.

In particular porous metals such as aluminum, copper, zinc and lead, a primer is the best treatment for improved adhesion and flow properties of all powders.

This product contains zinc. This gives it a greater anti-corrosive effect and is used when parts are exposed to very severe corrosion-promoting conditions.
Even parts previously affected by corrosion can be guaranteed with this primer for a long service life of the coating layer.
This heavy duty primer is heavier in weight and the coverage per m2 is therefore lower.
This powder can be experienced as less suitable for processing with a tribo system. Pre-testing is necessary.

Processing:
Primer is applied in the same way as a finishing layer

1 degrease parts - blasting/sanding - dedusting/wiping
(Always degas porous metals such as aluminium, bronze, zinc, copper, alloys first. 30 min > 200 °C) and cool.
2 spray primer.
3 Bake (Time starts when the parts have reached the bake temperature.)
4 Turn the oven off and let it cool down to room temperature in the oven
Powder coat 5 finishing coats.
